Mary Luce … Stories

This page,

like my stories, is under construction. I write in chunks of spare time when I’m not working one of my two jobs or participating in a myriad of volunteer activities. I want my writing to be relatable and bring readers closer to God, so I tend to not rush things. Thank you for dropping by!

I’d love to connect! Scroll to the bottom to sign up for my semi-occasional newsletter with fun facts, work updates and encouraging tidbits.

Ocean and sand

Imaginary Friends

An empty nest. An electronic addiction. An eccentric’s bequest. Can Geniver and Todd retire back to Maine after a successful military career? And who was Milo’s imaginary friend, really? This debut novel is suspenseful and encouraging!

Sand and ocean

Wife Aggro

This’ll be the sequel to Imaginary Friends!

Clear water at the beach

Mystery Title

All I can say about this one is that a) my husband gave me the idea and 2) it’ll take place in Ireland in the mid 700’s or so. It’s requiring a lot of research in order to avoid anachronisms. Hey, it may be speculative fiction but we want it believable, right?

Not all those who wander are lost.

J. R. R. TOLKIEN

Naturally, I reserve the right to set all of these on the back burner and work on a biography of my father instead.

About Me

I grew up in Maine, where many of my stories will likely take place. (I left in 1982 when I married my soldier husband, and now live in Kentucky.) My local church is important to me, and I’m active in the music and teaching ministries there.
